28PCI and 28PICT, but these are too small for the 1600 engine.

30PICT, 30PICT/2. These work fine, but if they have a 122.5 or 125 main jet you might need a 127.5 for the 1600 - the 125 just works but will tend to run a little lean at high speeds (this is a characteristic of all Solex carbs)

The 30PICT/3 is the carb of choice for this engine (that's what it came with). Very similar to the 30PICT/2 carby, but has three fuel circuits and two adjusting screws, in lieu of the /2s two fuel circuits and one adjusting screw.

The 30/31 Brosol Solex is a replacement for all the 30 series carbs, and has two adjustiing screws like the 30PICT/3.

None of these need adaptors for the sp manifold.

The 34 series won't fit the sp manifold, and there is no adaptor sold for it to do so.

There IS an adaptor for the other way round, to put the smaller 30 series on the larger tp manifold.

The tune-up procedures for both single screw and two-screw carburetor types are on my web site below.
