type 3 case

Can someone tell me what is needed to use a t3 case in a t1? Just block off the t3 oil filler hole? thank you.

Yeah, thats about it, except that you need to figure out how/where your oil pressure switch is going to work or hook up as it is in the oil cooler on a type3. Also the block off plate should use a dipstick, as thats what you're blocking off on a type3 motor, and the block isn't drilled for a type1 dipstick. Hope this helps you out.
