Aftermarket Gas Gauge?

Is there an aftermarket gas gauge that would be able to replace a 73' gauge. I dont care if I have to mount it somewhere else bit i dont trust the stock one. Also is there a another sender unite that would work? Thanks

I got a universal guage and sender out of the summit racing catalog. It worked fine.

There is a VDO gauge that uses the stock vw sending unit.... I have one in my car. might want to call a few places to see which one it is, I dont remember which model number it is offhand.
