How much power to expect? Best Cam?

I am building a motor for my 914. It is a 1.7 case and crank, web cam(trying to figure out the best cam to get (lift/ duration), dual weber IDF 40s, and ported and polished heads. I was going going to have my 1.7 heads done but am thinking 1.8 or 2.0 914 heads would be more echonomical. What kind of power am I looking at here?

As for the cam, what is the best Web Cam to get for more power in the mid to low end of the power band?

The 1.7/1.8/2.0 combo with a WebCam has been much discussed in previous posts. I was advised by several experienced builders to consider either the 86 or 86A with the corresponding lifters for 2056cc road engine. Either grind is said to work well for a mild engine with single springs, head work, exhaust and the correct ignition.
