Hey all,
How about compiling a list of vendors that specialize in type4/914 stuff and putting a link to them ( or a phone list ) somewhere at the opening page to this forum ? I know it can be a subjective thing but it would be a great resource.
I've done business with ( hold on now... ) Mark Stephens - yeah - that's a moot point but there is the company that bought all his stuff. There's Pelican, Fat Performance, Eurorace, CB has some type4 stuff, aircooled.net... anyone else ? Performance parts or otherwise ?

Jacob, Are you associated with the SEVWC club that is sponsoring the Rockingham event Aug. 27? I'm looking forward to Rockingham...that should be a blast!

\"Approved\" Vendors ?
German Parts and Restoration http://www.gprparts.com . These are definitely Good Guys, and have been supporting 914s for quite a long time. I used to use them quite a lot before I found Pelican.
Automotion http://www.automotion.com carries some 914 stuff--mostly Weltmeister stuff. Though often the same parts can be gotten from other sources for less.
Automobile Atlanta http://www.autoatlanta.com advertises themselves as "914 World Headquarters". Some people have had problems with their prices and their service. An easy way to start a flame-war on the 914 mailing list (or on one of the 914 BBSes) is to ask peoples' opinions about AA.
My favorite, since I work for them, is Pelican Parts. http://www.pelicanparts.com
