I have a Thing shell that I am about to try to sell. I imagine there is a pretty decent chance it'll go in sections. I have a guy that wants to buy the hood. He is in Michigan & I am in Missouri. It wouldn't be that hard to carry I wouldn't think but it is too big for UPS. Any thoughts or reccomendations.

You might make a phone call to Vince at Thing's Unlimited and ask his help on the weight and shipping costs. He mentioned a while back that it cost about $100 to ship a hood from coast to coast. I recently had a 18 lb hardtop piece for my SR2 shipped from Atlanta to L.A. and it cost $60.00, Common carrier might be a better buy than UPS.
