driver's door hinge w/mirror mount

I just scored a passenger's door hinge with a mirror mount. Now I need the part for the driver's side. If you have one that you are willing to share for a low price email me. i bought a set of these for like 15$ at a show. it was a bolt crappily welded to a plate. not sure if it was a thing shop or not, but it sure wasnt top notch quality i can assure you of that. they have just been sitting in a drawer somewhere for the past 5 years.

The nice original looking cast ones are the ones I am talking about. I have been told from other sources that they came from the Thing Shop. The plate with the bolt welded on come from Things Unlimited in Florida for around $45 a pair. He has those made up at a local welding shop. I was hoping smeone had a driver's side one that was not being used and was for sale/trade

Two ideas.. first there is a constant flow of Thing doors on ebay. Most are cheap most are in poor to avereage condition. second NuVintage VW has a giant stock pile of Thing doors (over 100) A perfect door is $35 plus shipping. I just got a pair of the nice brass Thing Shop hinge/mirror mounts. So now I have an extra passenger side hinge/mirror mount. If anyone wants it prior to being listed on ebay email me. they go for $80 a pair and my passenger side extra can be had for $25 inc shipping. K-mann
