I'm doing something a tad different, and plan on slapping it into my 181...It will be nice to get some real power and heat figures from on an OXY..

Expect the same figures as a Type I, the lost fins at the base of the barrels are the only difference...
The + is, you can run a factory thermostat, and flaps in the shroud.
It increases the velocity of the air, and directs it at the heads, over the seperators in the factor D.P. tin, where it's needed..
It's all in the cam, heads, compression, and quality of the machine work / assembly, ect... But you know that..
Good to see you here Jake, what do tou think?

Jake, you should do a 76 stroke, 94 B's, S.P. heads, mild cam (you know the best one)Baby Dells, then try FI

Cool! Glad to see you trying this out Jake!
Again for an upright solution it seems to be hard to beat.

The oxy/water boxer bottom-end is supper strong!! you wont break that.
What you will break is the rest of it(cam, valvetrain) the same as a T1, if you use the 101.6mm barrel headstud spacing(Stock) they take alot more abuse(the thread is much bigger)
GOOD LUCK mate....

Forgive my stupidity, but cant TIV stuff (B&P, heads) go on??
Would make more sense than type 1 stuff..

They use the Type I stuff, wrong cylinder spacing for Type IV heads.
Type I pistons & cylinders...
Take your choice of stock, or aftermarket heads, no dropped valve-seat issues....
