Here is an oxyboxer for small aircrafts. 2424 cc displacement engine also aviable with watercooled heads and turbocharging. Visit http://www.limflug.de/doc/eng/produkte/ L2400eb.htm
And yes it can be conwerted for street use. GWD of Germany has converted one for street and track use in their bug.
Does anyone has a picture of an oxy with upright type 1 fan schroud system? Just curious how it would look like finished.

thats another thing i thought about was haveing h20 heads with the aircooled cylinders. run a fuel pump and a big oil cooler with thermostat for heads and then the upright fan for the cylinders and another oil cooler (for oil obviously). should keep it cool but i still don't know if you could go with a real big bore (bigger than 97mm). anybody know for sure? would they flow enough anyways? another shot in the dark on my part.

I wonder what they are running for cylinders and pistons. Looks like a stroker crank too.
Looks like Vanagon EFI, note dual spark plugs.
Looks like 1.9 cooling which I think is on the left IIRC.
Makes you want to go humm!!!

yeah i saw the dual spark plugs. was kind of wondering about that. if they can go 97mm in an aircraft application i would hope there's room to work with to go bigger. but maybe not. brings up an interesting question. would it still be considered an aircooled motor? a woxyboxxer maybe or a type 6. now i'm getting ahead of myself.

Here is another pic of a disassembled Limbach engine. This time 2 ltr. type 1 based. Note the nickie cylinders in 90 mm. bore size. At the bottom of cylinders where mach. work is needed to fit into wasser bores cooling fins are almost non existent. Nice?

I wonder if those cylinders would work with the wassers bottom end. Will try to get pricing for those p&c 's. I think coupled to the oxy block and crank it would make one of the strongest aircooled shortbloks. By the way the Germans state that the stroke of the 2.1 ltr. engines crank is 76.4 mm. So what is it? 76 mm. or 76.6 mm stroke? Thanks.

The firing order is different on that 1st aircraft Oxy link.
The cranks are 69.4 and 76.4 mm Stroke.

try www.limflug.de and go to products. there's a turbo charged "woxyboxer". even with the 97mm cyliders i would think big cubes would be much more streetable than even say a 2332 especially with a big stroke and liquid cooled heads.
