What do you guys think? Good or bad? I'm in seattle(close to Vancouver), so I wouldn't even have to pay shipping.

Depends on his reserve. I would not go over $200 - $250 range for the whole thing. I paid $250 for a 91 2.1 from a guy that did a subby swap. AND he gave me everything. A/c compressor, wireing, powerstearing pump, exhaust, computer ECU etc.

Watch out as some Vanagon folks have been told they can get a lot for a running engine, because a wasserboxer runs about $1800.00 up for a rebuilt. Set your price and don't go over it!!!

Since it is a 1.9 you get the small crank 69mm.

I would say $200-250 as you can sell a lot of that complete motor back on e-bay and end up with a fairly cheap motor.
