CB Performance...

How's your experience been? Is the S/H reasonable? How's the quality of their products? Is anyone running their adjustable PUMA beam?

My experience has always been good with them, although I hate paying $10 (standard UPS) for a small package that only has to go 180 miles or so. Bigger stuff is probably more in-line with what would be expected. Cheers!

I have ordered from them a few times, got my parts within a week (not bad from across the country) shipping is in line with most companies these days.

I've ordered from them several times and even had a pretty long conversation w/Bob Tomilinson (the guy that wrote the Super Dellorto Tech. Book) when I had problems w/my carb. linkage.

I have found them to be great to work with and their prices are competitive.

The only negative thing I guess I can say is that they will not ship you an order unless it's for more than $20.00. Usually not a big deal, but can be if you only need that "one" item to get moving.

bought from them 2x. 1st was ok. parts on good condition, book was a bit folded and had a weight mark on it but otherwise ok.
2nd time i called them ordered some more stuff. when i got it, 1 item was missing, it was not available at that time they didn't charge me for it. i wished they informed me at least through an email. but that's the way it goes. the parts are ok so i wouldn't mind buying from them again.

I got my dropped spindles for my 58 through them they were shipped fast but I am in California also. I was expecting to pay more then the price they gave me so all in all I was happy. Now if I can just hear some reviews on their wide 5 disc brake kit I'm debating between theirs and the CSP Kit.

Well...

I have been down there a few times and overall I am pretty satisfied. I paid in cash one time and I think I over paid them by about $60 bucks. that could have been more parts. The old guy behind the counter didn't count the money after I handed it to him and he Just put it strait in the register. He went to no great lengths to check the till in his register, so I was pretty preturbed by that. But as far as there parts are concerned Over all I am pretty happy. The sorry part was I was double checking my money right there in front of him before I left and all he could say was "Well I trusted that you counted it right, I saw you counting it." He didn't actually watch me counting it, he just saw me count it. It was to the tune of like $300 that I gave him.

On the bright side they are just 45 minutes down the road so whenever I can I got to them for any of my parts, even basic stuff. they have pretty much everything, except Junk.

When I buy from RMMW I know the parts are garanteed. If part breaks after a week from CB Perf you're out of luck. I've been fairly happy with them. I bought a case and heads and was happy. Bought that serpentine belt deal and think its a piece of sh*t.
