Tow Bar

I am wondering if the standard Beetle tow bar will work on our things?

How about those supossed Ghia only Tow bars?

My std.bug tow bar works on my 59 bug and my 73 thing(but not my bus)

I have used my Beetle tow bar in my 56 Beetle, and then in my Safaris for miles and miles. You only have to be careful when backing up because they are not strong enough to support the stress and the long pipes bend. Tow bars fit Things better than Beetles because of the extra spaces between the bar and the bumper. They are not that good for Karmann Ghias because they easely hit the lower front, and Ghia's front sticks out some more making it hit the bumper of the vehicle towing.
