The best cam for you depends upon how you'll be driving the car, the weight & gearing, and whether the rest of the engine components are compatible (carburetion, exhaust, heads...)
Things aren't light and a "bigger" cam that works better at high RPM will also cause an annoying loss of power at the bottom - with normal gearing you could easily overcam (and a cam that's too big is a whole lot harder to live with than one that's a little too small!)
Tell us more about what's going into the engine and how you'll use the car. Do you know the compression ratio you'll be shooting for - how good of gas will you be feeding it?

The engine could handle a W120 no problem but I'd probably go smaller in that car, especially considering the off-road use. Engle's not the only show in town, you might consider something like a Web 218/119 or 109/119. What size venturii are in the 40s? (normally they come with 28s, but larger sizes are available for more top-end performance).
