Just curious of what the value my 73 Thing.
Good.
98% rust free-Never had any rust work performed. Just has two small holes on rear quarter.
Has a new top and Thing shop heavy duty frame and it does not leak.
All electrics work.
New tires, early Porsche 356 rims, Seats in perfect condition, Runs great.
Paint in decent shape, resprayed yellow about 15 years ago.
Has the VW optional roll bar.
Gas heater is complete. (Does not work due to lack of use)
Bumpers are straight
Has about 80,000 miles on it.
I drive it about 4,000 per year in the spring and summer.
Bad:
Eventually will need service to tierods, CV boots and shocks and gas tank cleaned out.
Door windows in OK shape.
Has a few small dings on the hood and lower rocker panels.
Does not have stock exhaust and EGR was removed.
Was hit in the front at one time, can tell only by looking in the front trunk.
Back fender has a small dent by the bumper.
Fuel guage sort of works and the odometer quit.
