cv joints

no one could answer this in the other forum. are type 4 cv joints the same as" thing" ones?do all the various cv joints have the same bolt patern? thanx R

Yes. They have a "Type I" part number which is confusing: 113 501 331D.
Same diameter/bolt pattern as the Bus (211 501 331B)
The Type I (113 301 331) and many VW waterpumper inners are smaller.
930 Porsche have a different number of internal splines.
