The 1.9 woxy we have for our race car has the mentioned installed. Would there be a wear worry worth worrying about? should we swap to T4 solid lifters?

Buy some new lifters if you have a new cam.
Try never to use a used cam with new lifters.
the reverse is also true.
Never, ever Use Solids with a hyd cam.
The reverse may not be true, but thy limit your cam/rpm, and cost like 2x as much.
They are probabl;y also heavier.
Get some ceramics and forget about it: use any solid lifter cam you like.
They are reusable almost indefinately apparently. (swap cams at will, reuse lifters)

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
