Project website updated

Post by jthw8 »

Hey folks, just had a moment to update my website with current pictures of Thing 1 and the new pictures of Thing 2. Feel free to check it out. One of these days Im going to actually organize it all with some commentary but for now, pictures are worth 1000 words!

I was glad to see you posted your photos here because when I tried to view them on topica I just got the captions. Guess what? Same thing here. Are they coming up on your computer?. If you have to repost them use the Show Your Thing Gallery Thread. It is out permanent photo group where all photos can be viewed as a group. Good luck. Bob Ingman

Not sure why you cant view them, I checked on a few different computers at work just to be sure. I have had some complaints that they are taking forever to load but that may just be my webhost, I really need to move off to something more reliable soon.

Do the pics on the linked pages load for you? I took those with an older digcam, lower resolution, so it may just be the pics on the main page need their resolution lowered.

The ones you put up on the gallery thread worked just fine. Glad to see them here. You should see the rot I had in the rockers of mine. I took the body off and used 2X5 sq tubing to repair them. That ended up giving a 3 inch lift. Good luck. Bob Ingman

I had pretty much the same idea for using the square tubing...smaller size of course since Im not going for a lift. The way I look at it all those nice "access holes" just make it easier for me to POR 15 the crap outta the insides of the rockers to try and prevent the return of the rust :)

The link opens but takes a long time as it is nearly 7 mb in size. Even on my T1 line it is slow. perhaps the photos are bitmaps rather than jpegs.
