faulty odometer

Hi All,
My odometer is not working but the speedometer is ok.My question
is, can the speedometer be disassembled at home and are
replacement parts available?

I had a VW speedo do that and I fixed it at home with no parts required. The fix was a tiny dab of JB Weld on the shaft and gear that spun. Its was a press fit that no longer pressed fit. If you are mechanically inclined you can probably figure it out pretty quick on the work bench.

i had the same problem with my spedo worked for a year without the odometer.....as it turned out my spedo cable was next to breaking....when i replaced that it all the sudden worked perfectly again so check that out
