86-92 front bumper on a 84?
i wanted to know if it is possible to mount up a 86-92 front bumper to a 84 vanagon . i was taking a look at these bumpers on the internet and they looked alot nicer than the chrome 'bar' bumper that i have now. any information would help. thanks in advance!

i'm 95% sure you can retrofit all that trim onto your '84. I have not done so, but i've heard of others who have.
There are also some body kits from germany that look good and are cheaper than the OEM stuff. I think vanagain.com carries some of that. Also, if you want pimpy, projektzwo (sp?) has all sorts of fancy doo-dads for our vans.
