Top frame bowed
Just put my top on for the winter and noticed on the right side frame where the front hinge is located (which is located right where the side curtains meet) a slight bowing. I was contemplting the Thing Shop reinforcement kit ($75) after straightening with a rubber hammer. Has anyone come across this problem and if so, what was your solution? thanks.

181 actually this is a fairly common issue with our 30 year old tops. The most common remedy seems to be to tweak the bows using a small come-along. You know a little here a little there and just kind of adjust it to your liking. Hope this is of benefit to you. Best of luck in your project. Bob Ingman
