Bikini Top for my Thing-

Post by jpashley »

I'd like to put a bikini top on my Thing- I'm looking at the one from the Thing Shop- does that assembly come all ready to just bolt onto my Thing or do I need to have some type of frame to support it? The frame that came with my rig when I bought it is really twisted and rusted and pretty much unserviceable so I'm hoping that the Thing Shops bikini top comes ready to go. Anybody else with a bikini top on the vehicle that has some tips as to what works well? Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

I purchased the Thing Shop bikini top last year and have been very pleased with it. Comes complete with all required hardware and frame. Of course, like any other bikini, there is considerable flapping on the sides at highway speeds no matter how tight you draw the straps

JP, smart move. With the Thing Shop at least you know what you`re getting. Thing Shop vs Boat Shop. Kind of a no brainer is`nt it? Best of luck. Bob Ingman
