Well, my credit card has yet to be refunded for the returned merchandise, and since they charged the card long before they ever shipped the goods there's no possibility of having the charge reversed through the card issuer (there's a 60-day time limit on that).
Looks like the Better Business Bureau will be my only recourse.
I strongly advise against doing any mail-order business with Kymco, their shoddy handling of this transaction has put them on my sh*tlist.
Kymco header purchase revisited

I quit doing business with Kymco when they never returned my 2 emails complaining about the fact that my "Ceramic" coated baja header, that was 9 months old and had never seen off road, was rusting worse then the chrome header it replaced.
A few years back I complained to So Cal Imports about the shipping costs of one of my orders, a couple days later I recieved a call from the CEO of So Cal, explaining the problem. A month later they changed their shipping procedures. That made a big impression on me and I will go out of my way to buy from So Cal now.
All I can hope is that a company that doesn't work with their customers will not have any customers to work with.

Jerry another thing i like about So Cal is that the owner Andy Souse has a really cool off-road Thing. They have a lot of 181 parts as well including pre-runner front fenders developed by him, disc brakes in wide five and as I recall carpet kits for the Thing . Best of luck. Keep posting here. I too feel terribly let down by Kymco. They jacked me for a $95 overcharge and Janet who now owns Kymco promised to make good on the overcharge and to treat me fairly. She never did a thing to set the score right. I put together the group buy with Jeff and it seemed all was well. My intent was to get everyone a good price for a known good Thing exhaust. Then things changed and Jeff either left or was pushed out the door.
Most folks in the deal got burned in some way or the other. Kymco (had) one of the best reputations for quality products and has won numerous awards for products.
I only wish I knew what the real story is with what happened at Kymco..
Jeff is a personal friend of Mattt on this list and I wish he would chime in to let us know what happened to Jeff. K-mann
