I think respect needs to be given... before it can be expected in return.

Bob Ingman has been on these Forums for quite a while, and has been nice enough to share his vast knowledge on the 181... and many other topics.

The reason these forums need moderation is for people like this youngster from Texas....

I think Bob does (and should) respond to most of the posts on here...

He can personally respond with factual information, or he will usually post a link to where the info can be had....

I know Bob Personally, I have met with him several times over the years... and I think he is one of the nicest people you would ever meet.

He is older than me and should be given respect based on that, and the fact that he has been nice enough to come here and deal with others.. sometimes some real idiots...

I haven't read all the threads that have led up to this situation, the STF has been heading downhill in the last year IMO... That is why I didn't re-up my moderator position in the Type 5 Forum.

I think Scott needs to make some changes around here... Bob isn't one of these folks who comes here and spreads Propaganda and Data designed to sway people's purchases (he's not selling anything to anyone) except for an occasional used part here and there...

He is here just to exchange info, and make the hobby / forums a better place... Good Job !!!

Clean up this forum Scott... Even the playing field for other folks wanting to promote their Business / Products... Warn these Idiots who behave disrespectful.. if that doesn't work, then ban em from here.

If Bob stops Moderating this forum... or any other forum on here, I will have another reason for not posting here ever again.

No, Jake, you are thinking of someone else. I did swap emails a few months back about a t4 for my Thing, though but bought a t 1 from the bug patch. How's your biz these days?

I can't speak for Jake here... but I would bet that Bob and him have also been friends for quite a while...

t5 Joe, be advised that the moderator on this forum has been praised by SK for un-randomly deleting many of my posts on this forum for purely personal reasons. Therefore, a review of the posts would paint a complete tilted view of the history here. But. if your trust in Bob's integrity is so great that you don't need to see the facts to make your conclusion, so be it. Its only reality anyway, right? I guess I`m just a bad loser.

I for one have had about enough of your waste of bandwidth Richard Myer. Get off this list. What a waste of time and energy you have become. You post flames and never any constructive help. Loads of folks I have know for years are coming up to bat to get you to shut yer trap and go elsewhere. It is really having a bad impact on the Thing community. Loads of us are on pmail fleeing from posting on topica and coming here to avoid you and now here you are flaming Bob I who has been a soul brother to us in the seach of gaining Thing information. Try lurking for a while and see if you are missed. I dropped off Topica and got more pmail than I could answer as a result. We as a group are really sick of your fancy boy ways.
