Hello, People
I need of a pair of wheel adapters for the front disc brakes on my '74.
I want to take them from there current 4-lug back to 5-lug. New or used
I dont care, just as long as they are correct and fit properly.
**** Those with the wheel adapters on there Thing, is there anything
that I should watch/look for regarding the adapters?
If you know of anyone who might have an extra pair looking to sell
please pass on the message.

Wheel Adapters.....More Questions
Ok.....
So with the work & risk of puting a spacer with the adapter. It might just be easier to take the rear 5-bolt and make them 4-bolt........Yes?
I have a set (4) EMPI 5-bolt White Spoke Steel Wheels. Currently on the Thing are 4-bolt in the front (due to the disc brakes) & 5-bolt in the rear both are the EMPI white spoke steel wheel. If I go with 4-bolt in the rear I have to buy anaother pair of 4-bolt wheels along with the adapters, then I will have a set of 5-bolt to try and sell. Or get the adpaters for the front and not have to buy a pair of 5-bolt wheels.
I'm not stuck on either bolt pattern as far as the design goes. I just want to make the change with the least amount of $ spent and have a safe driver for the weekends, etc.
Any feedback is welcomed.
Cheers,
Brent

Wheel Adapters
Bob,
As for 4-bolt pattern T1 drums on the rear of the Thing. Are we all correct that it will work/fit correctly and not do nay harm to any other areas?
I have been getting many many mixed feedback reagrding the "bug" T1 rear drums on the Thing.
Thanks again for the assistance.
