Mark 4 in a split screen Bus

Post by Avid »

I'm about to buy a Mark 4 in a split screen Bus.

Not sure what I should look out for as far as the conversion is concerned.

Obviously got to make sure that the valance is cut right and that the Lump get cooled or at least stays bellow very hot.

Are there any Bus Mk 4 experts out there?

I think the engine is stock Mk 4 that shipped with latter bay Mk2s.

Any help gratefully received.

I believe you are refering to a type 4 engine in a late bus. I think they came in late 72 (73) an on busses. Though the 411/412 had this engine first, for best application knowlage...you should drop into the bus forum. Ray
