Hello t4 friends !

I am new to this forum, and i`d like to say hello ! Have had a few 412`s , and have just got a new one ! It`s gonna be a eyecatcher i hope ! 2.3 l with turbo and intercooler. A mix of digijet and the original injection ! Porsche 944 turbo brakes (that was easier than i could belive) and leatherseats from Renault Laguna ! I will thank all the people at this forum, and a special thank to Ray Greenwood for lots of inspiration by reading about your problemfixing ! THANK YOU !

Hope to get it all finished next sommer (lots of work), but testable this sommer ! The gearbox (Porsche 915) brakes (Porsche 944 turbo) and suspension (koni`s and uppgraded lowered springs thanks to tips on this forum) is the first step ! Then i will get to the interior ! The engine is going to take som time to fit nicely under the rearfloor (stationwagen) but i will get there ! It`s gonna be repainted in the original lightblue metallic, with tinted windows ! The wheels is not desided yet, but its going to be some Porsche-style ! I`m really looking forward to next summer ! And yes, the 412 is going to be sweet !

That sounds like one really nice Type 4 when you finish it!! Make sure you take photos as you build it, as we'd like to see the progress. When you get finish with it, I'd like to do a full web page on it on my web site Tom's Type 4 Corner, something Neal Anderson and I did for his car.

I`d like that ! I have had 4 412`s before this one,but only did small mod`s on them ! The last one, a 74 2door got a 2360 engine with a 312 cam, 46and 38 volvo valves, conterveighted crank, and dbl 45 dells ! Full blueprint ! That one moooved ! But this time it`s going to be a serious complete restoreation ! A ( 412) friend of mine also have a 73 stv with Porsche 911 brakes and 9x18 Cupwheels, Porsche 911 lower front and rear(from bumper and down) 930 4speed gear (have done 256 kmh on testrolls) and 3,0 engine (204 hp) This one is going to be a reeeealy spesial one ! That car is part of my inspiration ! It`s not many of us here in Norway, but ve`ll try to hold on ! It`s clearly one of the best cars i`v ever had, so this is going to be my summer joyride !
