Well... the moron that doesn't have trees growing out of the cars I'm trying to sell.

This is the post prior to mine. This is how the "Moron" came to be.
In the month or so from when this all started I have made many purchaces, either from here or from Samba E-bay or private individuals.
The only ones that knows about these dealings are me and the seller.

It may be better in the future to keep your dealings private. I think in this instance Mr. Zannis would be possibly have his 412s and every one would be happy campers. That was the gest of my post.

Thanks, I understand where you are coming from. Oh I dont ever think it was his intetions on selling me the cars anyway, I think he was trying to use others to jack the price up on me, oh well, his loss anyway. I just fell into 3 Beetles an early Bay Window Bus and a Split CrewCab pickup for what I was going to give him for the 412's

Congrats. on your purchase. Sounds like a good deal. The early crewcab is probably worth more than the 3 412's together.

I'll bet you didn't get any trees in the deal though. Your loss.

I guess with that we can lay this post to rest. R I P . I think a lot of us on these forums have a lot more to loose than gain by using this media wrong.

I actually asked the guys how many trees I needed to cut down, he just sat there and said "what?".

Anyway now the search is on for a late Bus tranny and a 2 litre Type 4 engine.

To go in the Crew Cab of course! Anyone wanna swing axel tranny and some reduction boxes????

Well I dont think it was used wrong in this instance, but it sure can fall into being used wrong. I for one dont use people's last names etc. on message boards, never have and never will. And yes posting the emails might have been a little too much. but I agree, let it die RIP.

I second the fact that full names are a no-no.

I could put those reduction boxex on my '59 type1 and make a monster bug out of it.

The bundle of cars turned out to be a BUST, Crew Cab was toast as were the Beetles, but the kid I was buying them from is a nice guy, just doesnt know VW's. Might buy that 412 down the street.
