CSP DISC BRAKES

Post by 71GHIAMT »

Has anyone used the CSP disc brake setup? Seems like a lot of bread, but good quality. They are at www.customspeedparts.com

Seems that good disc and related are high $ items. I know of no exceptions. If you buy good stuff like CNC, Jamar and Neal expect to put out close to 1K but you have a long lasting safe system. If buying from abroad( no pun )add shipping and duty to that expense. Cheers. Bob Ingman

Arn't the spindles for Thing different than Bug?

Do these bug kits fit the Thing or are they a special Thing disk kits.

Can Ghia or T3 disks be adapted anyway like they can to bug front end for the Thing?

Don't meen to higack post but I have also been wondering about this.

Alsendo thing spindles are a different height than bug .
Ghia front discs are commonly installed on the Thing. Things Unlimited has all the parts to do it correctly sold in kit form. If you want to stay wide five then you will need to purchase another kit. SoCal has less expensive Thing friendly wide 5 kits.
http://www.socalautoparts.com see pages 7-8 IIRC. Cheers. Bob ingman
