this might be a silly ?... for the front seat, what side does the adjustment go on..outside closest to the door or the inside by the e-brack.(to adjust the back of the front seat).

i am alos looking for an passenger side mirror for an '73 if anyone has one or knows where to get 1 plz let me know.. i am trying not to spend 60 to 90 dollars..

the adjuster goes to the outside.

caspar the thing right side mirror is from a bus. Mike basso at Things Unlimited has them for about $20 used. Stock # is 211857514FG

I`m sure Scott at German Supply has them as well. See his link above.
I`ve had Jetta seats on solid mounts for long enough now to have forgotten the orientation of the original adjuster. Sorry. Glad Scott was able to recall. Cheers. Bob Ingman
