Front Super Beetle brake pads = rear 412 brake pads.
Found out today as I was redoing the brakes on my wagon that Super Beetle front brakes are the same as rear 73 412 brake pads. EXCEPT YOU HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE FOR THE PARKING BRAKE LEVER PIN and cut THE SLOTS OUT FOR THE PUSH BAR. The VDub shop i frequent and where the 412 is parked, didnt have any rear Type 3's so I improvised with FREE Super Beetle Fronts, works well with a little effort.
