I'm VERY happy with it so far

Chris..... so far the Bugs won 3 awards, on it's very first time out, and after a nightmare of a day trying to get it ready, it won 'Best overall Bug' and five minutes later 'Best of Show' at DEVA Dubs and Rods.

It won one of the 'Top Ten Aircooled' awards (Basically the judges are told to go and find the ten cars that they would like to take home with them

The Scooby motor IS coming, just not quite yet

. I need to get all the mechanicals working together and sort out some better brakes

before that. The bug handles really well at the moment and I want to make sure that everything is 100% before sticking 250HP under the decklid!!

It WILL happen though!

As for the seats, I got them out of a salvaged Toyota MR2, from a performance car junkyard. (and at a great deal too

)

I had them retrimmed in a Subaru style ('had these, fitted and everything but retrimming them was going to be a nightmare!) but in blue tweed.
