I wouldn't mind getting it myself for parts but I'm at my limit.

Chatham County, NC

Looks like a lot of nice parts could be saved off it.

Starting bid is $300 and there are no bids with 2 days and 3 hours left. No reserve also.

Surprisingly, the trunklid doesn't look that bad considering the rest of the rust. Rear glass and fenders are there also, but it's too damn far away for me!

I'm half tempted to get it and part it out. My neighbors will have a fit if I bring another one home. They've been cool so far, but I don't want to push it.

You need to be able to look at that car. See all the moss?...and the "fur" growing along the door bottom edges? Sadly...that car may never be safe to drive again. Hopefully its just the door bottom edges. But, the four doors had foam in the rocker panels all along the bottom of the back door. Once they leaked.....its cancer city. If its just pinholed to hell...strip the paint, spray the inside with acid to disolve the rust....weld the pinholes...drive it till it drops...but replacing large chucnks of metal is a heartbreaker. Looks like the Valiant that was parked next to it escaped a similar fate before the last photo was taken.........*sigh*...........I love those cars, my first loves, but my heart is into VW's now............always for the underdog.......
So you think your project is taking forever eh? Well you've got nothing on me.....

JEEZ that is a Valiant, I see one on the road every now and then. Brings back memories, used to ride home from Elementary school in a gold one.

I used to catch a ride to my first year of high school with teh chick across the street ....in a valiant with that uuuugly auqamarine paint. No heat....push-button gears with that 2 minute delay before they "clunked" into gear. A really cracked up dash with an entire herd of those little plastic animal critters that used to come on the straws at Sonic drive in restaurants.....with their legs poked through teh holes in the plastic. Cool! All beefs aside, it was an interesting car....and the chick was hot too! 8) Ray
