well about 6 years ago i got the exact kind of patch at Hot Topics (a store in the malls) they had a bunch of patches and the only one that i wanted was the VW one... not sure if they would have it still, this was in washington state near seattle.

but in sure any vw vender at the shows would have somthing or know a place? OR just have some custom made at an embrodery shop.

I bought one at the Bug In at Bandemere Speedway last summer. It takes place this year Aug 8. If you do not find one by then, email me and I will buy you one. They cost about $1.50 I got another one that was a rectangle that was white with a blue border that had Type 181 embroidered on it and another that said 1973. i have them on my off road rain and mud jacket. Bill check with your largest local uniform laundery provider. When I worked at VW we had the same patch and was put on and provided by the
laundry service. Cheers. Bob

Bob...

An idea... Brother Sewing Machine company probably has a board.

With a 1 or 2 color JPG the machine willl directly embroider the art.

My dad used to have one -- just an idea.... I've had stuff done for $5ea.

I`m in Portland Or. right now and all the off ramps have people holding signs. Got me to thinking but I`m too lazy to hold a sign so the T-shirt idea came to me. Cheers Bob Ingman

They got freeways in Alaska Bob, or you going to stand on the airport runways hoping for VW powered aircraft.

No freeways there but I could stand down on the dock and wait for the float plane to come in. Only problem is there are no other VWs around my island. I`m known as VW Bob there. I`ve never heard it but I would bet that they add the word crazy in there somewhere too. Cheers. Bob Ingman
