Thanks Caspar and Bob for the information offering.
(Caspar got one kit adn is getting another one a little later when his second Thing is ready for new trim. Everyone who got in on the group buy has shared that thye really like the trim. I know it is really nice on my Thing.
Peter, I still have Thing trim kits left from our group buy. You get enough trim to do the body, around the back edge of the hard top, on top of the doors (that takes 50') for $55 including prioroty mail shipping. You also get the adhesive backed "D" shaped foam piece that goes over the tops of the door posts with the trim kit. For $67 including shipping you get 60' which is enough to also do the edges of the rear seat backs. I have over 100" on Herr Kubelman. ( I got two of the 60' kits for my Thing so I could trim all of the edges adn so all the trim would be new adn would match. I put it on the top edge of the hardtop, around the door pouches and around the edge in the front and rear of the interior where speakers can go. The trim is very nice adn it looks great and takes less than an hour to install all of it. Let me know if you are interested. I do paypal or you can mail a check to me. If you are interested pmail me at stswest@att.net K-mann

As part of my under the front bonnet resto on my new daily driver Thing, I installed this trim around the gas tank. It looks really clean. I had to cut a half round section out from under one of the tank mounts to reestablish a ground connection from the tank to the frame so the gas gauge would work again. This trim is on both of my Things and it sure does an instant job of looking and feeling very nice. Kits are still available. K-mann

BUMP Had two Thingsters contact me today (just prior to my Glory ride on an F-22) for the trim kits. The timing was perfect. They inquired. I responded. I boxed it, they paypaled and it will be with them by Wednesday. The good news is ....... I have enough trim for a few more kits. Ask? and send the paypal and you are in. K-mann
