Sweeet. Its a sistor to mine! L-96m paint...2 door 412. Mine has 205-60-15's and almost identical stance. I think mine is just a hair lower in the front end. Mine also has powdercoated steel bumpers (black), powercoated 412, mirrors and powdercoated factory fenderwell trim. I am debating on powdercoating the headlight trim as well. Ray

Nice car! I see you have ATS rims mounted. What size do you have? It looks like 7x15et16. Am I correct? What size tires front and rear? I am running 7x15et16 ATS on my 411 with 205-50-15 front and have a problem that the tire occasionally touches the flared arch of the front wing. What about you? I have 205-60-15 rear, no problem.

I'm not sure if it's the black hood, the tires, the tach or what. But the car has a great attitude. This ain't your grandpa's VW.

I've just had the car for a few months, so I haven't had the time to work too much on it yet. The rims are ATS 7X15 w 195/50. The rims are actually for the snowtires on my T1 1300s, and the tires were som I got cheap from a friend. When I purchase new tires I think I'll go for 205/60, front and rear. With the low 50 profile I think the wheels look too small, especially now with the high, non lowered front end. The original paint were really bad, so I used black primer on the hood to protect it from the rainy conditions here in Norway. The engine is a 1700 with dual carbs, but a friend has a mint 71mm crankshaft as well as a Scat 82mm.....

I'll keep you updated!

That's it.......I'm painting my hood black. Damn conformity. Maybe some big snarling teeth on the side. Anybody got anything else I can copy?
