VW Blues, sing along

Post by 67 T1 »

OK, work with me here. Just put that typical blues sound in your head and sing along. :P

So. Cal?s got it made (wa, wa, wa womp)
With all those VW vendors (wa, wa, wa womp)
And I ain?t got no shade (wa, wa, wa womp)
When I?m working on my fender

I got those blues,? VW blues

No parts house got my stuff (wa, wa, wa womp)
And I?m feeling the stress (wa, wa, wa womp)
On-line ain?t enough (wa, wa, wa womp)
Thank God for UPS

The Beetle?s up on jacks (wa, wa, wa womp)
The 412?s up on ramps (wa, wa, wa womp)
The type 3s starting to hack (wa, wa, wa womp)
And my bus is awfully damp

I got those blues,? VW blues

Shipping will be extra (wa, wa, wa womp)
But no sales tax (wa, wa, wa womp)
I ain?t no high stepper (wa, wa, wa womp)
But my credit cards are maxed

The Thing left me stranded (wa, wa, wa womp)
Think it through a rod (wa, wa, wa womp)
Now I feel branded (wa, wa, wa womp)
Like a run over dog

I got those blues,? VW blues

Just settled all my problems with the brown van, just need to button up the small stuff.

My camper is down for awhile.

Am thinking of getting the 412 painted here soon if I can find some new front and rear glass and do something about the engine lid. Someday I need to pull the motor and change out the 3/4 cylinder head. My #4 exhaust has a leak right where the exhaust attaches, it has blown out a small hole on the head.

67T1 I know where you might be able to find some good cv's, I have that Wagon that I am parting, dont know if they are any good though.

Thanks DB. I pulled the last axle from the spare 412 and was able to piece together a complete CV/axle set. Taking them to a shop today to have them pressed so the circlip will go in the notch on the axle.
I now have a 412 with only one good CV though. I may hollar at you later about the CVs, if I ever get around to working on the spare 412.
