2 Type 4's left at Wilson's

Post by OKNotch »

Spent last Saturday at Wilson's in Lexington, OK, once the "worlds largest stock of Volkswagen parts." Still a lot of stuff left and they will be open again in Sept. There is only 2 type 4's left and they are really picked apart, but will be going out again and will try to get the good parts or if the price is right just haul the things home. I did however get the last 7 air cooled engines. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_ ... c_id=82956. There weren't a lot of people there but most were from Texas. For those who don't know the story, Mr Wilson passed away some time ago and his daughter and son in law are selling everything, but they open the doors every once in a while. If you like picking through stuff, this is you place.

Yep... know they are picked apart. I took a lot of the parts 8) . Were the seats still in the gold 4 door? They are too cripsy to use, but the upholstery would be good enough to send to sewfine for the pattern. I will be driving through lexington tommorrow. I may call in advance and stop. Ray
