It is overcast today, and my camera is dying

.I got to see my car today....I opened the storage unit and fondled it for a while

. Thats ok. I have a large expense check coming in while I will be out of the country again. If I can get it into my accounts...I will be ordering the last of the rebuild parts for the engine. Probably start to assemble at thanksgiving. I also should have enough to get the copper diaphram project back on line. I need to get a new digital dial idicator to test the last version from around may. If it all checks out, they may be ready for sale in October

The engine lid rust monster got mine too. Not quite as bad though. Wish my paint looked that good.

Bought it on EBAY, cant figure out the German city it is for though

The camera hides ALOT of issues with the paint. it's bubbled in alot of places and is also starting to peel off giving it a nice GOLD polka dot look!

Hey, at least you've still got some gloss on that thar paint. I'm convinced the type 4 decklid is cursed...I bought this one: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... p?id=97011
and it arrived dented! D'oh!

So you're the one. I e-mailed him about it and he said it was already sold.

Sorry it got dented in transport though, aside from that it looks pretty solid.
