Wrong with the world

Post by racing rick »

I wish you guys would get a life. Every time something isn't exactly right you want the world to know. People have bad days - make mistakes but you all sound like a bunch of crying babies. Get over IT!!!! If you spent as much time volunteering to a charity as you do complaining imagine the great work we could do. I suggest you take all the energy you spend on this crap and volunteer at your local Red Cross to help the victims of the hurricanes in Florida. Lets get back to what is important and move to the positive and good part of life.

I can tell you stories about the Red Cross too.

The idea behind these forums is to share our knowledge. If I have a good experience with a vendor or a poor one I think I should let my fellow VW owners know about it. I have since learned that it isn't allowed here.

I noticed you only have one post and just joined. It doesn't seem to me that your goal is to share knowledge but to stir the pot of controversy.

BTW: My friends call me "The Evinrude in the Cesspool of Life" because I can stir the pot with the best of them. :D

You have over 11,000.00 postings and all you do is witch and Wine . What other person has this much time to waste complaining ? Kymco has alot of very happy people out there who will use them anytime . Maybe no company can make you happy . Your just way to good . Your the master of all things vw .
Only one response is neeeded here since it's obvious these posts both came from the same semi-literate mind.

I see no reason why I should ever "get over it". I was robbed of $350 and the world should know, so that others won't get burned too. If you'll take the time to read a few of my posts I think it'll be clear to you that this one topic is not representative of my usual demeanor.
The "Master of all Things VW" was a title bestowed by the previous owner of the board, who had a wry wit - I'm sure his tongue was in cheek at the time. Should I feel compelled to have the current owner remove it because some dolt doesn't get the joke and thinks I somehow gave it to myself?
Oh, not that it has any relevance to this forum, but I don't have any sympathy for people who choose to live in a hurricane or tornado zone or a flood plain or a tinderbox. Nobody sends me federal tax dollars to compensate me for the fact that it's always wet here.

Marc,

From knowing you these past few years the title is rightly deserved. I've been called Vert Vanagon (term for ulitimate VW master) for pulling off some sweet fabs or repairs on Vdubs.

I haven't let it go to my head of course.
