My KYMCO problem resolved

Post by Marc »

I just got off the phone with Danny Deacon at KYMCO - he took the bull by the horns and tracked down the paperwork which proved that my order was returned (apparently that was the hold-up all along, the refund had not been processed as Janet had maintained) and called to let me know a check is in the mail. I'm a happy camper now - better late than never - with people like Danny there it shouldn't take long for them to build a sterling customer service reputation :D

Marc, glad to hear your problem with Kymco has finally been addressed and resolved to your satisfaction. It sounds like Danny is a standup/ take charge guy who is a valuable asset to a company, and is willing to jump right in and rectify a problem that has long been in the making. It is very refreshing to hear that there are people like Danny that are the rule rather than the exception in this type of business. His attitude is great, EVEN if Red67 implied that you could NOT keep customer satisfaction up working on only a 10 to 15% profit margin. This goes to show that can be done and perhaps if Red67 does not agree, maybe he should be in a business that does not have to deal directly with customers. Perhaps field labor?

Marc when I watch the Mariners games on TV they have a Banner Bank commercial showing a float plane at Kenmore Wa. Is that the one you refere to? Looks like around here. Are you on the Sound? My area looks like Puget Sound and is actually closer to Seattle than to Anchorage. Just a group of islands off the coast of BC really. Cheers. Bob

Kenmore Air is right at the north end of Lake Washington (freshwater) - I live about a mile away from there, at the top of the hump of the "h" in North City on this map:

They fly immaculately restored DeHavilland Beavers & Turbo Otters and some Cessna 180s between here and Vancouver B.C. and other island destinations.
