oh thinks deathbus for your appreciation afther 10 vw product on the years from 1969 my old expérience serve me to day witch my 412 car salutation and thinks ,, the furum is made for that , (geve help at the fan )each persons take a smal part , in that , and we never saide ,big thinks ,,at the author of this furum , salutation

I found a nice cheap replacement for the window felt on my 412. At Home depot and ace hardware, they make synthetic felt strip for basically the same purpose for home window sahes. It is self adhesive and comes in 12 foot rolls...and is approx 4-5mm wide and 2.5-3mm deep. it comes in black and gray. I burnish it in, the run a fine bead of epoxy on the edge. looks like factory. $10 a roll.

I am not putting chrome back on my car....meaning the bumpers, the fender edge strips, the door moouldings, the rain gutters and the factory stock type 4 only mirrors...and the door handles..will all be epoxy or powder coated black. So....I am casting matte black 80 durometer urethane side moulding strips. Its very easy...and they look like factory...but do not dent. I am casting a thin metal strip into the back and casting in the clips as well. I may do those while I search for employment.

Thats another thing. I will have to get with someone about how to post pictures. As I start manufacturing things....many of which will be for sale....I may start sending pictures out for someone to feel free to post. Ray

oh yes ray , i see that me to , but i d,ont try yet, he have for the commercial store door on the side(weore you put your hand for open) same felt and it is in the slut , i thing it is more deep , we have the same idee,salutation

oh ray ,for the rubber under the handle door that is the same the audi car or vw during the year 90
