I was starting to install one on my 67, but after careful consideration I have decided to sell my kit.
Here's what me ran into that had to be cut/modified.
1.Sheet metal above bell housing needed to be trimmed for tranny to fit in.
2.Chassis needed to be trimmed near nose cone (or you have to use an early bus nose cone because it sits 1" lower then the beetle nose cone)
3. Apron needed to be trimmed above merged header collector.
4. The decklid wouldve needed to be offset or wouldve had to use short
manifolds for the IDA's.
5. A1 muffler wouldve hit the bottom of the fender (Wouldve had to send it back to A1 to modify to fit lower.
6. Also, you have to massage the area above the nose cone (rear package tray area)
