Hello..welcome! Coool! Now mind you....in the beginning of that vehicle, had I sen a really nice varient being sliced and diced...I would have objected heavily. But since you aquired it that way, and I have no way of knowing that it was NOT a basket case.......it will have to do 8)
On to the assessment....its cool! Yeah it looks like it needs some alignment....and I would like to know how they strengthened the chassis. They do not get any more unique. Personnally...I would leave off the extra "stylistic" Ferrari style vents up front and hust run with the natural style....but thats just me. Again...welcome and let us know if we can help. Ray

That thing is crazy! I think it will be pretty cool once you get it sorted out. Looks like it will need some major rocker repairs on the RH side! I agree with Ray, I'm not a big fan of the "Testarossa" style vents on the sides. The cutouts for the rear wheels look a little uneven too? They might need some attention to those to make them look a little less "kit car" looking. Some cool Porsche wheels stuffed under those rear flares would look pretty damn sweet!

Wow, that is a REALLY unique ride! Sort of a cross between a Corvair Greenbriar and a VW, but once you get it sorted out, it'll be killer. I can see the ricers now, trying to figure out what it is at the local Sonic, heh heh.

I believe you are confused! I had to ride and had early driving lessons in a Corvair Greenbriar. It was a van more simular to a Kombi. I think maybe you ment a Corvair rampside pick-up or a single cab VW truck.

You're right GDRBO...I was thinking of the rampside pickup, apologies! I had a friend in college with one, WELL past its prime, back when T1's and Corvairs were considered worthless by the cognocenti. Well, I guess everyone's entitled to a mistake, even those with "conventional wisdom"...look what 'vairs and T1's are worth nowadays.

Hey, keep us informed Minty, especially when you surprise your first victim by opening the front trunk and asking them where's the engine

That reminds me of the "fella" who walked in behind me at a 7-11 one night about 5 years ago...trying to get me outside real quick cause I had a serious leak under my front end...and was losing all my "anny-free" (as he put it).
I laughed....looked at him hard...and asked him...you mean that gray car? He said yup....I told him that he must be mistaken. Said no.....and that it was really pourin out. I informed him that since I have no radiator, water pump or water in my car....that a person in my position might think he was about to get mugged....and that it was also a fine night to get shot. He left really quick. 8) Ray
