I disassembled my steering column today. Is there supposed to be a sleeve between the bearing and the shaft? I do have the plastic sleeve with the notches cut out on one end but it appears there should be a sleeve that goes on the shaft before the plastic sleeve is placed on the shaft.
after doing a search, which I should have done first.... I found that super vw already answered this with "well i found it at west coast metric, the part number is 111-535D and it was under $10."
