I need a decklid for a 2 door coupe. Mine is rusty on the inside where the little vents are, and can't be repaired nice enough for a show car. The others i have found in my area are in similar disrepair.......the design made them rust our IMHO. pmail me vgonman@msn.com if you can help/

That's going to be tough, VW couldn't even paint in there very well at the factory apparently. Most of the decklids have ended up with huge holes from all foam, so if you have only surface rust, count yourself lucky. I've wondered the same thing, though, how am I going to paint behind those vents? I have some virtually flawless decklids for my cars now, but they aren't necessarily the right color...Vgonman wrote:I need a decklid for a 2 door coupe.
