I believe that person never showed up, so it's up for grabs again.

It may be the same one I looked at in Sept 03...the seller is the same. It was a 74 L-Jet 1.8L Variant, all original except paint, thoroughly worn out interior, rust starting up under the drivers side carpet from a bad windshield seal, completely worn out front end, but the drivetrain was still pretty perky. No turn signals (electrical problems I think), dash pretty grim. Worth a look if it's close...maybe he's done some work on it.
Lane
73 VW 412 (the Nomad, dropped valve seat land now, argh!)
67 MGB (Abingdon's Finest)
76 Plymouth Duster /6 (runs like a top)
99 New Beetle 2.0 (never gives any trouble)
04 Golf TDI (45 MPG)
09 JSW (love it, love it, love it!)

If it's the same car, it's wildly overpriced for what the market will take right now, NOT that I don't think that they should be worth more...
