On my way to an oxyboxer

Post by Beherenow.tk »

Hi there,

Could some of you lot please help me with some links on how to make an oxyboxer out of a wbx.

What are pros and cons of an oxyboxer? Is it likely to overheat?

It will be well-appreciated, cheers!!

A "T5" Oxy is no more or less likely to overheat than a T1, as it IS a T1, with a better block, oiling system, and flywheel attachment.

I live where it gets hot, and gave up on T1s long ago.
I run T4s, or water cooled WBX. YMMV.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Beherenow.tk:: My web site will give you a few ideas on the H20 to Air conversion. Go to drag cars then down to mickys drag car that shows how to do a lot of the outside plumbing of the oil cooler using the stock fan housing. Rocky
