There was an option for the six seater I believe...all the way through production. I have seen designations for them...but can't remember what they were...or if any were ever produced. They had a raised area above the rear cargo area on the wagon...for head room....with a jump seat for two over the engine. Funky man! Ray

ops ,, ray ,, i have question ,, i find same picture(photo ) on web , but this time is in french(in europe) from some guy wo visite the exposition room at wolfsburg and onder the photo he said (pour assoir 6 personnes en avant )for to geve tree place in the front ,,,my question is, were vw put the shifter harm , sameting the panel or on the stearing ,,big question ,,,nex week the solution,,,,
