I am writing this note in hopes you might consider a sponsorship role in the 2005 National Auto Sports Association (NASA) VW Championship Drag Racing Series. The seven race points series is hosted at Sacramento Raceway. The series is open exclusively to air-cooled VW powered vehicles. Our racers are dedicated enthusiasts, and many own several cars.
As a sponsor you will be backing a first class organization where each member will be encouraged to patronize your business, primarily your website. Your company name and logo will be clearly visible to racers, spectators, and the media.
We will speak highly of your product and service with other competitors, track personnel, fans, and the general public.
Visitors to your site will be impressed to see your name backing a successful and long running VW event.
We have developed a web-site, www.nasavwdragracing.com to post events, driver standings, and to showcase our sponsors. Updates are performed on a regular basis to keep information fresh and current. A race report is written at the end of each race always thanking our sponsors. This report is sent out to every address on our large mailing list, and is published in Grass Roots Motorsports magazine.
Sponsorship is very flexible with many options. I was hoping you might consider providing us with a NASA Forum much like the one you have for NIDRA, provide some STF decals, and maybe some rewards for the racers such as T-Shirts, cash or other award items. You can structure your own level of involvement.
We have completed our schedule for the 2005 NASA VW Drag Racing Series.
