Seat removal

Post by Bowman74 »

I know this is probably a stupid question. On my '74 412 I have a seat that won't lock in place (the seat back doesn't stop and goes all the way down to lay in the back seat). I wanted to remove it from the car and take it apart to see what's up. Well the darn thing isn't connected anything like my other VW car seats, how do I get it out of there?

Also any ideas on why the back doesn't catch and stay up would be helpful.

Thanks,

Kevin
